Beautiful, quirky and surreal ceramics. Melody Rose was started in 2011 by designer Melanie Roseveare with her range of upcycled vintage ceramics and now includes a new line of British-made bone china tableware.
Upcycled ceramics – Refired in the kiln at over 800 degrees with new and vintage images transforming ceramic ugly ducklings into the most beautiful tableware around. Entirely functional and can be used every day.
Bone china tableware – Fine bone china made in England’s ‘Potteries’ town, Stoke-on-Trent, hand gilded and fired with designs from the Melody Rose collections in the London Studios. With gilded edge and gorgeous details, these bring a sense of traditional occasion to the modern table.
Melanie Roseveare is the Canadian-born designer of Melody Rose. She lives and works in North West London, where inspired by a love of ceramics, art and eco-friendly design, she breathes new life into new and long-forgotten china and creates Melody Rose.
There are three collections; Rock and Roll, Modern SurRealist and Urban Nature.
Small and affordable pieces of art, they are gorgeous displayed but also very practical. They can used every day and some can even go in the dishwasher.
