‘In Colour’ introduces a vibrant splash of modern shades to the Melody Rose collection, bringing a touch of glamour and intrigue to the exquisitely handcrafted fine bone china dinner plates. Designed to be mixed, matched and layered, the plates also work beautifully on their own or as a set of a single colour. Inspiration behind the colours:
Forest Green – inspired by the natural beauty of the woods and forests and taking influence from antique English and French fine china collections.
Raspberry Pink – taking inspiration from 18th century style ‘icon’ Madame de Pompadour. This brighter and bolder pink pays homage to ‘Pompadour Pink’ while adding a bold 21st century twist.
Cobalt Blue – a contemporary take on traditional ‘Blue and White’ china, the deep and rich colour pairs perfectly with the burnished gold trim.
Vintage Blue and Bright Yellow – the first shades in the collection and they still hold a favoured position, these two 1970’s inspired colours are a tribute to the bright playful block shades of the time.
