The Temptation of St Hillarion – a 19th Century painting by French artist Dominique-Louis-Féréol Papety.
Deconstructing the painting and giving it a contemporary twist, the plate features the ‘temptation’ St Hilarion sees in his visions.
Made of delicate fine bone china with a touch of luxurious hand applied 22kt gilding making this a delightful gift or unique wedding present.

Made in very limited numbers or as one off pieces, each piece is an original vintage ceramic chosen for it’s beauty and quality.
Gorgeous displayed, but also entirely functional and can be used every day. Melody Rose upcycled ceramics are refired in the kiln at over 800 degrees so the image becomes part of the original glaze, will not fade or scratch.
We recommend washing by hand to help prevent original gold detail fading over time.
