Inspired by a love of vintage ceramics and a desire to be eco-friendly, Melody Rose designer Melanie Roseveare breathes new life into vintage ceramics. Melanie began creating the range in 2010 and is still making these pieces in the studio to this day.
Melanie’s work focuses on marrying the unexpected with the traditional; images that shock and please in equal measure; pretty vintage Victoriana china with tantalising imagery, the juxtaposition of quaint and quirky.
Re-imagined vintage and antique ceramics, each piece has been redesigned and then refired in the kiln at over 850 degrees. These pieces are gorgeous displayed but also entirely functional and can be used every day.
Made in small numbers or as one-off pieces, they are beautiful on their own or mix and match to create a unique table setting.
