WHY NO GIFT BOXES?
Occasionally we’re asked why we don’t offer gift boxes for Melody Rose products.
Now, we have nothing against boxes, but like many people, we found ourselves wincing at the idea of introducing more packaging. After all, we already have bespoke tissue made from recycled paper and recycled boxes that we have to ship in to keep our deliveries safe and arrive in perfect condition.
Melody Rose comes in so many shapes and sizes, from teacups to cushions, from tiny bowls to dinner plates. Our orders come in many different shapes and sizes, it makes the gift box all but impossible.
So after quite a lot of deliberation we decided to steer clear of small additional boxes and stick with the packaging we have.
Our decision was arrived at over several years of figuring out the safest, most efficient and sustainable way to do the job. We like to think we’re saving you some recycling time, leaving more time to enjoy your new wares.
If you’re buying a gift from Melody Rose, please don’t worry we’ll wrap the order in our bespoke tissue and include your gift message too.
